In April 2013, the Siriraj Training and Education Center for Clinical Skills (SiTEC) was officially opened. This new landmark makes Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, capable of organizing multidisciplinary workshops. Both fresh and soft-cadavers have been utilized in open and laparoscopic surgical training. Numbers of simulators for abdominal and vascular surgeries were also equiped.
Located at the 4th floor of Srisavarinthira Building, SiTEC’s facilities include 2 main-function rooms with 8 stations in each room, 2 minor-function rooms, a 50-seat-lecture theatre and 20-seat-meeting room with full audiovisual support for live transmission and tele-conference. SiTEC aims to dedicate for academic purpose and capacity building in broad range within our own faculty, nationwide and international level.
